RS-2090 played an awesome set about a month ago at Alchemy. I’ve been a little lazy about posting it, but here is a video to get an idea of what it’s like. RS-2090 is the new project of Sean Ivins, also known as Forest World.

This comes highly recommended. “The Boy Who Could Fly” is Kari Jorgensen from the Provo area. “Brain Cloud” is an album that I can enjoy no matter what mood I am in. Kari’s raw voice blends perfectly with her guitar parts, and the great production of these recordings really pulls everything together.

I feel like there are so many ways to interpret this bands name. Dick Janitor is a fairly new all girl punk band from Provo. Boy/girl vocals, songs about love, thousands of synthesizers, beats by Karl, masterfully executed reverb stylings and the couple’s new baby make this album especially great.
